Meet Dr. Lauren Pratt
A Natural Choice
Dr. Pratt didn’t have a particular “aha” moment that led her to chiropractic as a profession. Rather, she came to the decision as a natural result of her own experiences and her desire to help others.
A lifelong athlete, Dr. Pratt received chiropractic care whenever she was injured, and she was always amazed at how chiropractic seemed to help her body’s own healing ability. As a biology major in college, she was leaning toward medical school, but the reactive approach of Western medicine didn’t feel right.
Since she had always been interested in how the body works, moves and functions, Dr. Pratt realized helping people as a chiropractor was a better fit for her.
EXPLORE CHIROPRACTIC
After completing her bachelor’s degree in biology at Webster University, Dr. Pratt earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University College of Chiropractic in 2019. She completed her clinical rotation at Scott Air Force Base, where she worked with active military.
At the start of Dr. Pratt’s career, she was oriented toward providing pain-based relief care. Over her years in practice, that focus has evolved. Although many people begin care when they’re in pain, Dr. Pratt’s approach is to offer them the care and education they need to take a more proactive stance toward their overall health.
